High Pressure

La Mesta possesses the expertise and unique equipment to work with high pressures. In both batch and continuous processes, the technologies found at our facility come from our know-how and are specially designed for use in fine chemicals industry.

We have several 2,000 to 6,000-litre conventional vessels on site to support the pressures going up to 100 bar.

Also, the Raptor technology developed more than fifteen years ago is used for work at pressures ranging from 50 bar on an industrial scale to 300 bar on for pilot purposes.

These unique vessels connected with our experience with a large number of catalysts allow us to carry out specific hydrogenations for example.

These capabilities also enable us to use reagents like liquid ammonia and various pressurised gases like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, isobutene and propene, offering access to original synthesis pathways.
