Analytical Expertise

Our analytical laboratory is a versatile tool that is adapted to all stages of a product’s life. Our analytical team works around the clock five out of seven days a week, focusing on two vital activities:

The development of methods for analysing new compounds.
Quality control of raw materials entering our facility, synthesised intermediates as well as finished products manufactured before release and delivery to the client.

The analyses performed during the industrialisation phase also allow us to study the behaviour of the reactions so we can guarantee safety on an industrial scale.

For the products intended for the pharmaceutical industry, we carry out method transfer and validation to respond to the reliability and robustness requirements that are a part of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). We also conduct stability and degradation studies on these products.

Our laboratory has the equipment needed to quantify the purity and intrinsic characteristics of our products, detect any impurities and monitor our syntheses (see the list).

In addition to these methods implemented at our facility, we establish regular subcontracting partnerships to meet the specific analytical needs of our clients.

CDMO

We are subcontractors of the pharmaceutical, flavour- fragrance and cosmetics industries. Our instructing parties trust us to develop and manufacture their products under confidentiality agreements.

Quality

To market safe products, La Mesta applies numerous standards and norms on which authorities, certification bodies and clients routinely perform audits.

R&D – Industrialisation

Our research and development department is made up of PhDs, engineers and technicians and is responsible for developing and optimising the industrial processes used to manufacture new products or optimise the synthesis of existing products.
