HISTORY

Based on its own past, each of our production sites has built its expertise now available within AET Group :

La Mesta Chimie Fine was founded in 1971 on the French Riviera, 30 km North of Nice.

From its very beginning, based on strong specific skills in handling sensitive raw materials, La Mesta Chimie Fine established close partnerships with world-class pharmaceutical companies.

During the 90’s, as part of major international groups like Shell, La Mesta Chimie Fine could implement the best standards in terms of Quality and Safety, Health & Environment.

In 2001, La Mesta Chimie Fine joined AET Group.

La Mesta Bourgogne was set-up by Eastman Kodak in 1975 with the view to produce in Europ couplers and sensitizers needed in the photo industry.

Growing with the market, important investments were made by Kodak on the site to adapt production capacity in an appropriate environment (automation of reactors for example) and to each high levels of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment up to Kodak’s standards.

In 2001: Regenerative Thermal Oxidator for gaseous effluent was committed.

La Mesta Bourgogne was acquired by AET Group early 2007 and is now using its capacity  to develop and produce products for pharmaceuticals, aromas, frangrances, cosmetics.
